Civil War era United States Confederate images and relics, to include:
- Cabinet card lithograph portrait of John Bell Hood (1831-1879) Confederate general during the Civil War, serving with distinction at Williamsburg, The Seven Days Battle, Second Manassas, Sharpsburg and Fredericksburg. Severely wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg. After a Union defeat at the battle of Nashville he resigned his command in 1865. Measures 3 3/4 x 4 1/2".
- Carte de visite CDV of unknown Confederate artilleryman, 28th Battalion Georgia Siege Artillery.
- Tintype of a Confederate veteran in reunion uniform of 4 button grey sack coat with branch of service piping. He is handing out notices, circa early 1890's. 2 1/2 x 3 3/8"
- Confederate Infantry button, dug, missing back. Featured in Albert's Bicentennial book, page 375, plate CS 182.
- Letter cover (no letter) sent from Columbus, Mississippi to "Laurel Hill Plantation" in West Feliciana, Louisiana in care of "Col. Hamilton". The embossed stamp cover was issued by post office from 1853 to 1855.
- Confederate waist belt "Snake" buckle, cast brass, no wire loops.
