CARTE DE VISITES CDV CIVIL WAR NOTABLE FIGURES

Three carte de visites CDV of notable American Civil War figures, to include: 

• Union General John Pope, put down the Sioux Indian uprising of 1862 in Minnesota which resulted in the hanging of 38 Sioux leaders. It remains the largest mass execution in US history. 
• George W. Johnson, 1st confederate Governor of Kentucky and Private, Co. E, 4th KY Infantry, killed in action at the Battle of Shiloh. 
• General Albert Sidney Johnston (1803-1862), served as general is three armies; The Texan Army, United States Army, and Confederate States army, killed in action at Shiloh 1862.
