Provenance: Collection of Albert Fisher. Albert Fisher began his long media career in local television in his native New Orleans. Subsequently, he became head of TV & Films for both the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and the 1964 New York World’s Fair. He was associated as an executive for major nationally televised series including “The Original Amateur Hour”, “The Merv Griffin Show”, “Candid Camera”, and others. He created and produced hundreds of programs and specials for the Discovery networks, the History Channel, The Science Channel, PBS and Scripps HGTV. He also produced the National Emmy winning series: “Better Homes and Gardens Television.”
Besides the National Emmy, he has garnered many international awards including film festivals in Cannes, New York, London, Chicago, Barcelona, Lucarno and Edinburgh.
