Lot of three 19th century records from Florida, including:

  • Payment schedule agreement between Thomas Munroe of Gadsden County, Florida, and the Union Bank of Florida. Munroe (or his heir) was to pay $1875 to the bank every two years between 1862 and 1868. Dated March 16, 1838; signed by Munroe and witness C.H. DuPont.
  • Protection Insurance Company of New Jersey fire insurance agreement for $5,000 of coverage belonging to John W. Argyle. The insurance protected a brick building on Monroe Street, opposite Washington Square (now the Leon County Courthouse) in Tallahassee, Florida. Dated November 29, 1849.
  • "Journal of the Convention of the People of Florida, at a Called Session, Begun and Held at the Capitol, in the City of Tallahassee, on Tuesday, January 14, 1862." Text incomplete, only includes 32 of 110 pages.


Condition: Some foxing and insect damage to paper. Loss and tearing around the edges. Session journal is incomplete.
