Lot of 2 reproduction Civil War recruitment posters, including:

  • Second Regiment Light Artillery, Company B poster offering $154 to new recruits. The poster features men on horseback and a caisson with cannon and soldiers. Measurement of poster: 15 x 19.25". Measurement of frame: 16 x 20".
  • Clinton Rifles poster boasting of the regiment's many attributes, including "competent officers" and "the Handsomest Uniform in the Army." The top of the poster features an eagle with wings spread and a banner, branch and arrows in its talons. The banner reads "E Pluribus Unum." Measurement of poster: 14.5 x 18.25". Measurement of frame: 16 x 20".


Condition: Good with slight discoloration around the edges of the paper.
