RANCE HOOD "GHOST RIDER" FRAMED SERIGRAPH SIGNED

Framed serigraph "Ghost Rider" from 1978 by Rance Hood (American, 1941-) featuring a Native American man riding a horse in the sky. Printed on 100% cotton rag. The serigraph is numbered 58/90 and signed by the artist in the bottom right with an additional drawing by the artist titled "Warrior." The artwork is mounted in a silver floating frame and surrounded by a white mat. Framed size: 49 x 35". Artwork size: 38 x 24".

• Artwork purchase receipt from Milan Gallery.
• Frame purchase receipt from Dillon Fine Art & Framing.
• Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
• Letter from Rance Hood to Leigh Fountain explaining why his signature appears to have been erased on the print. The faint signature is from when he was signing previous prints and they left an imprint.
• February 26, 1985 newspaper article from the Palm Beach Post about the artist and his show at the Artisan's Gallery in Boca Raton, Florida. The newspaper article includes a color image of "Ghost Rider."
• Fax to Henry Milan from Leigh Fountain with the Palm Beach Post newspaper article.
• Enlarged black and white copy of the Palm Beach Post newspaper article.

Provenance: "Ghost Rider" was purchased by Leigh Fountain at Milan Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico on December 14, 1999. Shortly after the artwork was purchased, the artist signed the serigraph and drew an additional image in the bottom right depicting a Native American man in profile titled "Warrior." The artwork was framed at Dillon Fine Art & Framing in Bernardsville, NJ in 2001.
