Daniel McCord Taylor - originally from Newton, Illinois - is a painter, jewelry maker and yard artist best known for his abstract oil paintings featuring bold, striking color palettes. Dan's paintings have become highly sought-after following multiple "People's Choice Award" wins at Big Bend Cares' annual "Artopia" charity art auctions. In 2012, his painting "Inception" was featured on Gamblin Artists Colors Co.'s online gallery as part of their "Torrit Grey Painting Competition". His work has been featured at the LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts, the Council on Culture and Arts, in the Art Cove in Tallahassee's Hotel Duval, the Oglesby Gallery at Florida State University and 621 Gallery. His work "Nebula Grid" was selected for the Gadsden Arts Center's "26th Art in Gadsden: Regional Exhibition of Fine Art". Dan currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
