John Penrod was a full-time woodturner who exhibited at juried art venues prior to his retirement. He has won numerous awards including the prestigious Award of Excellence from the American Craft Council at the Council's shows in Sarasota, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. His work has appeared twice on the cover of "Woodturning Design" magazine.
