Terrie Corbett shares a studio with her husband, Chuck Corbett. She uses traditional painting and drawing techniques combined with personal mark making to create abstract and expressive paintings in Encaustic, Oil and cold wax, Kiln fired glass, and Enamel glass on copper. She uses a variety of traditional tools. The process is not unlike a visual jazz as each stroke elicits the next. She is a member of COCA, International Encaustic Artists, Ten Artists Ltd, Encaustic Art Institute and Southern Art Glass Alliance. She exhibits in juried exhibitions in Florida and through the country. She has received recognition in some of these exhibitions as well as in national and international exhibitions. She has gallery representation at Kittrell/Riffkind Art Glass in Dallas, Texas. She also has a presence in the gallery shop at the LeMoyne Art Center and the museum shop at the Gadsden Art Center and Museum.
