Johnny Daniels (American, b. 1954), Florida Highwaymen, oil on Upson board depicting a wetland scene with egret, early 1960's, set in original wood frame. Presumably this painting was unsigned. At some point, an owner took the painting to Al Black who notated the reverse in permanent marker "Sold by Al Black, Painted by J Daniels". He then used the same marker to sign Daniels in lower right.
