Handwritten and autographed letter from Disney Imagineer Herbert Ryman (1910-1989), who served as art director for classic movies such as Fantasia and Dumbo, dated "December 11 P.M." and addressed to Frederick Newlin Price (1884-1963), founder of Ferargil Galleries in New York regarding a table design. Posed questions include "Will it be wood or metal? Dimensions and thickness of tile? How many tile? What shape table?" followed by sketches of four shapes. "Yes I'd enjoy doing a set of tile - they are very gay things - and utilitarian - suggest a theme - the sea, the dance, theater, society, nostalgia, memories, horoscope - love -sport - city life - country life, night life. Exotic, endemic, esoteric, or what?" Signed "H.R.". Includes Certificate of Authenticity from JG Autographs.
