Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) cap badges and buttons, lot of 7, including:

  • Two metal GAR wreath cap badges, unmarked.
  • Felt embroidered GAR wreath cap badge with a "7" denoting the local post.
  • Large GAR button, marked Goodwins and patented July 27, 1875 on reverse. Diameter approximately 7/8".
  • Small GAR button, marked Horstmann Bros. & Co., Philadelphia, PA on reverse. Diameter approximately 1/2".
  • Two buttons with U.S. coat of arms eagle, unmarked. Diameter approximately 5/8".


Condition: Good with wear. Rust to reverse of eagle buttons.
