Arthur Diehl (English-American, 1870-1929) oil on board painting, titled "Mending the Nets," and dated 1919. The scene features a fishing dock with women and men repairing their nets in a New England coastal community, where Diehl spent much of his artistic career. Set in a gilt wooden frame. Signed in the lower right corner. Titled in pencil on the back of the board.



Condition: Small loss 6" from the left side of the frame, and 2" from the top of the frame.
