20TH C. FAUSTO RAMOS VALDES PHOTO & DOCUMENT ARCHIVE

20th century photo and document archive of Fausto Ramos, from the collection of the Cuban sculptor, who also acted as director at the famed Cuban art institute, "San Alejandro" or Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, from 1962-1963. Includes:

• Photo of Ramos beside a monument to Medical Colonel Armando Guerrero (1877-1949)
• Photo of Ramos at a banquet, surrounded by colleagues and possibly artists.
  • Signed to the verso with 20+ signatures.
• Handmade parchment certificate from UNEAC (Union Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba) or The National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. 
  • Personally drafted for Ramos and signed by the president of the union (Nicolas Guillen) and the president of the Plastic Arts (Alfredo Rostguard)
