1914 Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) representative encampment badge with pin back eagle brooch and three hanging medallions, backed with a yellow ribbon. The center medallion honors the founding of Detroit, Michigan, where the 48th National Encampment was held from August 31 - September 5, 1914. The bottom medallion features a relief image of Washington Gardner, commander in chief of GAR. Badge is 6.5" long.
Condition:
Very good with minimal signs of wear. Ribbon has some fraying.
