Mars Biggoose (American, 1952 - 2000) Framed gouache on paper of a Native American and a horse by Mars Biggoose. Signed and dated by the artist in the bottom left corner. Biggoose was born in Pawnee and attended Pawnee Indian schools before transferring to Santa Fe Indian School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He also attended Haskell Indian Institute in Lawrence, Kansas. Baggoose participated in art shows in Oklahoma, and his artwork was on the cover of the book "Sundown" about the history of Osage Indians.
