Watercolor size: 9.5 x 7 in. The artist signed and dated the painting in the bottom left corner. Echohawk (1922-2006) was a Native American artist who served in the 45th Infantry Division during World War II. He received a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, and a Congressional Gold Medal. After the war he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago.
